Monterey Takes First Step In Railroad Crossing Repairs

Monterey is starting the process of refurbishing two railroad crossings within the city limits. Board of Alderman approved opening the project for bids was approved. New Waterfall Part Of Monterey’s Meadow Creek Expansion

Monterey’s Meadow Creek park has expanded as the town completed the purchase of a neighboring seven acre lot. Included with the $43,500 price tag was an undocumented waterfall that needed a name. Monterey Approves Pursuing Land for Meadow Creek Park

Monterey approved moving forward with negotiations to purchase seven acres of land to expand Meadow Creek Park, during Monday nights Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting. Monterey Aldermen will fill the vacant second ward seat at the November meeting after a sometimes contentious discussion Monday.
