Pickett Co. BOE Rejects Sole Bid For Solar Pavilion Project

The Pickett County Board of Education unanimously rejected the sole bid opened Monday for the construction of a solar pavilion. Virgin Falls Receives $500k Recreation Grant

The state announced a $500,000 grant to acquire additional land for White County’s Virgin Falls State Natural Area. The land adjoins the Dog Cove area southeast of Sparta.
