No Movement On Cumberland River Hospital Meeting

Communication issues with the Cumberland River Hospital and Celina municipalities continue with no movement on a rescheduled meeting date. Cumberland EMS Adds Automated CPR Devices

Cumberland County Emergency Medical Services has improved its capabilities by purchasing four new LUCAS devices. The lightweight mechanical device automatically delivers chest compressions for patients needing prolonged CPR. The Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department is utilizing GPS Technology in over 20 of their vehicles. Commissioners Write Off EMS Debt

Putnam County Commissioners voted to write off some $627,000 in noncollectable debt from Putnam County EMS Monday night. The amount represents about 8 percent of the ambulance service’s revenues. Jackson EMS Proposes Bonus For COVID Work

The Jackson County Budget Committee is considering giving full-time EMS workers an $800 bonus for COVID-19 work. EMS Director Keith Bean brought the proposal to the committee at its meeting Thursday night. The total cost for the bonuses set at $9,600 dollars. That’s for the 12 employees working in EMS.
