Putnam County will begin its budget work with a first budget committee meeting April 15. Commissioners ratified County Mayor Randy Porter’s nine-person committee selection. Putnam Commissioners Approve Option Agreement On Fairgrounds

Putnam County Commissioners agreed to an option with a Nashville-based firm to purchase the 41.41 acres of the Putnam County Fairgrounds. The purchase price: $12.42 million.
