City To Begin Jefferson Sewer Exploration

Cookeville is preparing to begin an assessment on the sewer system on Jefferson Avenue. Cookeville Water and Sewer Director Ronnie Kelly said the department has taken bids to begin video monitoring the sewer to check the condition. The concrete water tank on Pilot Knob is getting repairs completed. Cookeville Water and Sewer Director Ronnie Kelly said the work will address concrete chipping around the bottom edge. The City Of Cookeville closed on bonds this week to pay for the new police headquarters and two new fire trucks.
