Cookeville Looking To Acquire 31 Acres To Expand Cane Creek

Cookeville City Council will vote Thursday to acquire 31.39 acres off Buffalo Valley Road to expand Cane Creek Park. City Manager James Mills has set an option on the land set to expire November 30. Plans For New Cane Creek Dog Park Moving

Construction on Cookeville’s brand new Cane Creek Dog Park will begin this Fall. “We are still in the planning stages,” Cookeville Leisure Services Director Rick Woods said. “We are developing plans as we speak, and we hope to have our plans finalized this summer.” The city included the plan in a master plan for Cane Creek Park four years ago. ...
