Employees of the White County School System will be receiving one time bonuses entering this holiday season. The Board of Education approved $500 for certified teachers and $250 for classified employees. The Jackson County School System has a new Title IX and sexual harassment policy with two new positions in charge of reports. Pickett County High Improvements Set To Begin

Pickett County High School is in the process of multiple renovations this summer. The Board of Education approved bids for the parking lot paving and ceiling replacement project.
