Solar Facility Opening Thursday

Things will get bright at the Highlands Business Park this week when a new solar array powers up.

Restoration Services Inc., partnered with Vis Solis Inc. and the TVA, Highlands Business Park, Putnam County and the city of Cookeville.

They’ve created a solar power facility at the park. It’s big enough to power 156 average homes for a year.

Authorities will gather at 10 a.m. Thursday for a ceremonial “power up.”
