Search For Missing Man In Fentress Co. Will Resume Wednesday

A search for a missing man in Fentress County will resume Wednesday morning.

Rain postponed Monday’s search for 57-year-old Danny Ray Hall and officials will spend Tuesday gathering rescue crews from across the region to assist with Wednesday’s search.

Fentress County Emergency Management Agency Director James Bilbrey said Wednesday’s search will center around Glenoby Road after officials received a lead this week.

“There is an area now where an individual had seen a cap,” Bilbrey said. “We are going to get a couple teams together in the morning to see if we can find that cap and see if it’s his.”

Hall went missing last Saturday after going ginseng hunting near Sam Beaty Road in South Fentress County. Bilbrey said Hall wasn’t reported missing until Tuesday of last week.

Hall was last seen wearing blue jeans, a T-shirt, tan ball cap, black boots and a camouflage backpack. He’s described as 5-foot-9, weighing 135 pounds.
