Registrations Underway For White Co. Kindergarten And Pre-K

Registrations are underway for White County Schools Pre-K and Kindergarten classes.

Supervisor of Elementary Curriculum Angela Fresh said that when signing up online or in-person, parents will need to have updated physical and immunization records, among other documents.

“For Pre-K they have to have a copy of their social security card, a copy of their birth certificate–not the mother’s copy, proof of address,” Fresh said. “They have to have proof of income, because it’s an income-based program.”

Fresh said that Kindergarten registrations do not require proof of income. She said that applications can be completed online, or picked up at any White County School or at the central office.

Fresh said that once an application is submitted, parents can expect her to keep in contact regarding any future information.
