Several Monterey residents have expressed concern about changing brick colors on Monterey High School.
Deputy School Director Tim Martin said the brick that was used for the high school was stained for its color, but over time has grown dull. Patches of the brick are fading.
Martin said the appearance of the school is on the district’s radar. Martin said the infrastructure remains sound despite the color loss. He said the brick may need to be restained though- a subject for the future school budget.
