The Putnam County Planning Commission approved two preliminary subdivision plats Tuesday night.
Pippin Estates Division includes 20 lots on some 14 acres. The subdivision will be built on Blackburn Fork Road. Planning Director Kevin Rush said that there will be one new road required on the parcel to be named H.C. Pippin Drive. He said that one lot will sit at almost five acres, with the rest around half an acre. The commission also approved the final phase one plat for the first three lots of Pippin Estates.
The other preliminary subdivision plat was The Cliffs on Cumberland Cove Road. That plat will consist of 11 lots ranging from .086 acres to 3.3 acres.
