Putnam County’s UT Extension Office has made March special through its celebration of Extension Month.
“We’re celebrating extension month every year in March, from March 1st to 31st, so that we can let our people out there know what is available,” Ag Extension Agent Wayne Key said. “What kind of educational topics we have and what kind of resources for the community. ”
The Putnam County UT Extension educates citizens with agriculture, homeowners, and 4-H programs, Key said.
“Our doors are open, we invite anybody to come by and learn more about our programs,” Key said. “If they have any specific questions, call us or come by and visit. ”
The Putnam County office is located at 900 S. Walnut Ave. in Cookeville. For more information on programs available, contact the office at 931-526-4561.
