Putnam County Schools announced Wednesday they will hold in-person graduation ceremonies June 5th and 6th at the Putnam County Fairgrounds. There will be a four-guest maximum per graduating senior.
Upperman High School Graduation will be held Friday, June 5, at 6. Monterey High School graduation will be held Saturday June 6th at 4. Capacity permitting, Cookeville High School Graduation will be Saturday, June 6, at 10. Should capacity be too small at the fairgrounds, this ceremony will be moved to TTU’s Tucker Stadium. The location for Cookeville’s graduation will be finalized Thursday.
Guests for all ceremonies will be seated in groups of four, 6 feet apart with at least one bleacher row between guests. Rain dates of June 12th and 13th with the same times and locations for each school were selected.
For those unable to attend, the graduation ceremonies will be streamed on Facebook Live and aired at a later date on WCTE.
