Putnam Commission Decides Budget Monday

Putnam County should have a new budget following Monday’s vote.

The county began its budget process months ago with committee meetings. The full commission will vote on the measure at Monday’s meeting.

Commissioners are weighing heavy issues, including additional firefighters. The school system budget will also be decided as part of the process.

The Putnam County Commission will meet at 6 p.m. at the courthouse.
