PCSS Surveying Community On How To Spend ESSER 3.0 Funding

The Putnam County School System is looking for community input on how to best use ESSER 3.0 funding.

ESSER Coordinator Jason Stickler said the survey is on the system’s new ESSER website. Stickler said hearing from families is critical because how much the federal funding affects students and the community.

“Our goal is to gather as much input and feedback from the community as possible,” Stickler said. “So we’re hoping that it shouldn’t take more than 45 seconds to maybe a minute, minute and a half to complete.”

Stickler said there are ranking questions and open ended questions to answer. Stickler said there is a projected plan tab where families can see four potential funding categories.

The community engagement survey is set to go live online at pcsstn.com/esser on Monday.

“The community will be able to go on and see our progress and the application process,” Stickler said. “We also have information relating to previous allocations that have been given to us in ESSER 1.0 and 2.0.”
