PCSS Seeking Community Input In Survey For Strategic Plan

Putnam County School System seeking input from community stakeholders through a survey being sent out Tuesday.

Communications Supervisor Hannah Davis said the survey will help with a strategic plan. She said that will guide the system’s trajectory over the next five to 10 years.

“We have an amazing community that truly supports a high-quality education that we have here in Putnam County,” Davis said. “So to hear their voices, to hear where they see us from the outside looking in is, I think, very important as we look at our overall strategic plan.”

Davis said the anonymous survey has approximately 13 questions and an option to give opinions on the system’s strengths and opportunities for growth. She said it asks about opinions on testing, college readiness, and the system’s recruitment and retainment of faculty and staff.

Davis said the strategic plan’s core team is made up of faculty, staff, community stakeholders, and Putnam Schools leadership. She said the team will take the feedback and use it help inform the strategic plan process.
