PCSO Investigating False Threats Against MHS Student

Putnam County authorities are investigating false threats made against a Monterey High School student Tuesday.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday threats made against the student were determined to be false after their Snapchat account had been hacked.

Additional deputies were called to the high school while the investigation remains ongoing.

Charges have not been filed against any student or individual at this time pending the investigation.
