Overton Executive Barlow Recovering After Heat Incident

Overton County Executive Steven Barlow continues to recover after suffering a heat-related medical incident Monday night.

Emergency medical personnel took Barlow to the hospital in an ambulance after a public hearing and county commission meeting that together took over two hours. Barlow expected to return to his office within the next few days.

The temperature inside the Courthouse reached 90 degrees plus, due to broken air conditioning and a massive crowd that came into the courthouse for the public hearing.
