Overton Co. Woman Dies From Injuries Sustained In Motorcycle Crash

An Overton County woman has died from injuries sustained in a Saturday Motorcycle crash on Highway 70 east in Cookeville.

Cookeville police Officials said Thursday morning that 53-year-old Rebecca Howard passed away Wednesday night.

Howard was a passenger on her husband’s motorcycle that struck a vehicle exiting a restaurant parking lot. The impact threw Howard from the bike and she received treatment at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Her husband Jackie Howard suffered non-life threatening injuries.
