Just about 1,200 outages remain across Putnam, Overton and Jackson Counties Monday morning.
Temperatures well into the 50s Sunday and abundant sunshine helped workers make a huge dent in the outages Sunday.
Upper Cumberland Electric reports 800 outages in Overton County. Work continues along Palestine Rd., Livingston Boat Dock Rd., Baptist Ridge, Rocky Mound, Standing Stone Park Road, Garrett Mill, Mohawk Valley, James Reeder, Tower Hill Road, Andrew Cove Road, Savage Lane, Bill White Lane, Thompson Circle, Fire Tower at Alpine, Thorns Gap.
About 350 in Putnam County remain without power. Among the areas still without power this morning Poston Whittaker, Penthouse Road, Tucker Ridge Road.
Less than 50 remain without power in Jackson County. Many of the outages remain in Phillips Lane, Boyd Flatt, Cub Hollow, Roaring River, Trace Creek, York Highway, Dodson Branch.
Jackson County Mayor Randy Heady said if you are still without power in any of the three counties, now is the time to reach out to UCEMC. Fill out the form on their website or go through the telephone prompt system. Heady said the company wants to make sure they have everyone accounted for.
Outages began one week ago when a two-hour period of freezing rain early afternoon caused massive outages in the three counties.
