One person died Sunday after a motorcycle accident on I-40.
32-year-old Nicole Siems was traveling west on I-40 near mile marker 290 and attempted to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle left the travel lane on the left shoulder, striking the cable barrier and post.
Siems came to final rest near the point of impact, and the vehicle itself skidded a short distance westbound before coming to final rest.
