OCSD Seeking Your Input In Family Engagement Survey

Overton County School District seeking your input in the annual family engagement survey.

Director of Schools Donnie Holman said the survey is very short. He said it asks questions that go along with the district’s family engagement goals.

“We’re like any other organization, we want to continually do better, we want our school system to be better, and we want their feedback,” Holman said. “And that’s the primary focus of it.”

Holman said the survey asks what school they are responding for, how they feel entering the building, if they feel respected, and if they feel well-informed among other questions. He said the survey is completely anonymous and the responses will go to the central office and to each school.

Holman said the administration will then analyze the data and use the information to make progress going forward. He said the number of responses has been low this year, and they would like to see that increase.

The deadline to respond is in mid-April. Holman said you can find the form online on the district’s Facebook page and on each school’s Facebook pages.
