TDOT has rejected a sole bid for a new Jackson County Maintenance Building.
The building is planned for 636 South Grundy Quarles Highway in Gainesboro. The design calls for office and garage space for TDOT maintenance crews.
The project would replace an existing structure that has reached the use of its life. It will also be used for daily planning meetings, minor repairs of tools and equipment and storage of small hand tools and materials.
