National Weather Service reports an EF-1 tornado touched down in Crossville Sunday.
The tornado had winds up to 95 miles per hour and was documented to be 50 yards wide. The tornado touched down just west of Highway 70 N and traveled 1.7 miles before lifting in the area of the Executive Inn on Hwy 127 N.
The National Weather Service will continue the damage assessment in Fentress County after completing work in Crossville.
