Officials charged a Monterey man with aggravated assault after he pulled a knife on a woman inside his home.

Dewey Farley Jr., 43, was arrested and booked into the Putnam County Jail Monday.

According to Farley’s arrest warrant, officials responded to a disturbance on Cade Road in Monterey.

The arrest warrant indicates Farley pulled a knife on his girlfriend in the his home during a verbal altercation. Farley threatened the woman and put her in fear of her life.

Farley is set to appear in court Oct. 29. He is currently being held on $50,000.
