A Monterey man was killed, two children injured in a two-vehicle collision along Clarkrange Highway Tuesday afternoon.
34-year-old Eric Kimball died when the vehicle he was driving crossed the center line as he tried to negotiate a curve. He collided with a Peterbilt truck driven by 50-year-old David Stephens of Allardt.
A 5-year-old and 7-year-old in Kimball’s car were injured. The extent of the injuries is not known. Both children were wearing child restraints, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Stephens was also injured.
No charges were filed, but THP did request drug/alcohol tests.
The accident happened around 3:15pm Tuesday.
