There’s a new member of the Jamestown Board of Aldermen.
The board has appointed Misty Harding to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Elizabeth Pendergrass during last month’s meeting. Mayor Lyndon Baines said Harding serves as the Tourism and Membership Director of the Fentress County Chamber of Commerce.
“I believe she’ll be a great asset to the city,” Baines said.
Harding took part in her first board meeting Monday night.
