Authorities arrested 39-year-old James Earl Wells, Jr. for First Degree Murder, Attempt to Commit Especially Aggravated Burglary, and four counts of Aggravated Assault.

On January 12, TBI Special Agents began investigating the Lind Street shooting. A press release indicates that 32-year-old Darius Michael Bishop was at the home with several other people when two masked men forced their way through the front door.

Bishop confronted the men and was shot. Officials transported Bishop to an area hospital, where personnel pronounced him deceased.

In January the investigation led to the charge and arrest of Terrence Malone.

Authorities booked Wells into the Warren County Jail Friday on a $1,100,000 bond.
