An investigation by TBI special agents has led to the indictment of a Macon County woman accused of filing a false sexual assault report.
In December 2016, Elizabeth Suddarth, 24, reported a Jamestown man sexually assaulted her at his home.
TBI special agents started their investigation in January.
The investigation revealed the sexual assault did not occur.
Fentress County Grand Jury indicted Suddarth last week.
According to the report, Suddarth turned herself in this morning. Suddarth resides in the Fentress County Jail with a $2,500 bond.
