Local Soccer Club Accepted into Tennessee Soccer Association

Local All-In Futbol Club was accepted into the Tennessee Soccer Association.

Davis Draper directs coaching at the All-In Futbol Club.

He said the membership allows for better participation in Tennessee soccer.

“That means that we are eligible to participate in all that Tennessee Soccer has to offer,” Draper said. “Which includes their state league programs, their coaching education programs, their player development and Olympic development programs.”

All-In Futbol Club directors submitted an application to the Tennessee Soccer Association. Draper said he participated in an interview as well.

“So I mean it was just a little bit of a process, not a big deal,” Draper said. “They felt like it was a good thing so they gave us the membership.”

The Tennessee Soccer Association waived the first year probationary period.

“We had an interview with the executive director and several of the board members and that went really well,” Draper said. “So I guess they granted us all the rights of a member of Tennessee Soccer in our first year. So it’s great.”

Draper said the association did not explain why they waived the period.

The club had it’s first set of tryouts for the coming season on Monday and Tuesday. Draper said the club saw a much larger turn-out than last year.

“This year our numbers grew quite a bit from last year, so we are kind of forming those teams right now. But there is definitely a lot of interest in what we have to offer,” Draper said. “Our focus is on long-term coach and player development. We are a soccer club with soccer people making the soccer decisions. So that is kind of our focus there.”

Last year, the club had a total of sixty players.
