Livingston Chamber Starts Process To Facilitate $1 00 K Grant For Business Improvements

Some $100,000 in downtown improvements coming to Livingston businesses thanks to a grant the Chamber of Commerce received.

Executive Director Shannon Cantrell said several businesses have applied for the face improvement funds that can be used for repairs or additions to a storefront.

Cantrell said she believes the projects will draw more shoppers in tourists to the downtown area. The grant recipients will be announced in April.

Cantrell said the number of businesses awarded all depends on the amount of applicants. Projects are capped at $20,000.
