Kodak Man Charged With Solicitation Of A Minor

Cookeville Police have charged a Kodak, Tennessee man with solicitation of a minor for rape of a child.

Officers arrested 47-year-old Kenny Lum Whaley last week following an undercover investigation.

According to a press release from the Cookeville Police Department, Whaley solicited a law enforcement officer posing as a minor for sexual activity. The release indicates that he traveled from Sevier County to Cookeville to complete the act.

Whaley has posted a $50,000 bond and makes his initial court appearance March 11.
