Jackson County has postponed its public meeting on the county’s 10-year plan for parks and recreation.
Mayor Randy Heady said holding the meeting tonight was not going to be possible with the Winter weather.
“I’ve been begging for people to come,” Heady said. “You know, just really wanting people to come out and support that and give their opinions. We have postponed that to next Tuesday, of course.”
Heady said he will be making a location decision for the February 23 meeting. He said the Jackson County Courthouse and other county departments will not be open Wednesday.
