Cookeville Police have arrested a Dowelltown man for allegedly assaulting a woman.
Officers charged Allen Lee Bryson, Jr, with aggravated assault Wednesday evening. He’s under $30,000 bond at the Putnam County Jail.
An arrest warrant said Bryson pushed the woman to the floor and brandished a knife as she got up from the ground. The report said a witness confirmed the incident as reported to law enforcement.
