DeKalb County has received a $235,000 site development grant from the state.
The funding will be used to improve the Moog Boulevard property for industrial use. County Mayor Tim Stribling said the county plans to give prospective companies a better vantage point by extending a road into the property.
The State Department of Economic and Community Development awarded nine counties with site development grants earlier this month. Clay County received $59,000 to conduct due diligence studies at the Mitchell Street Industrial Property.
