DeKalb County Court Clerk Jimmy Poss hopes neighbors will help neighbors for a good cause Wednesday.
Poss’ office will sponsor a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the DeKalb County Complex. For each donation, county officials will donate $2. That money will be split between the county’s two senior centers.
Poss teamed up with Blood Assurance for the drive, which supplies blood hospitals throughout the region.
“It’s important to me to know that not only are we doing something good for many people, we’re doing good things for people close to us, our friends and family in our local community,” Poss said.
Poss teams up with Blood Assurance for drives several times a year.
