Crossville Sets New Rainfall Record

Crossville set a new annual rainfall record in 2020 with more than 75 inches of rain falling during the course of the year.

The National Weather Service office at Crossville began keeping records in 1954. The final tally Thursday came in at 75.32 inches of rain.

That breaks the 2018 record of 74.88 inches.

2021 will begin rainy with precipitation continuing into the afternoon
