Crossville Man Shoots Air Pistol at Drive Thru Window

A Crossville man allegedly shot an air-powered BB gun through the McDonald’s drive-thru window Tuesday.

Crossville Police arrested 23-year-old Trevor Murray following a high speed pursuit. He’s charged with vandalism, reckless driving, and three counts of aggravated assault.

Officers responded to the Main St. McDonald’s for a report of shots fired. Incident reports state that Murray shot a Crosman 1911 Co2 powered BB pistol at the window after receiving his food.

Officers made contact with a vehicle fitting the description of Murray’s on 127 North. Authorities completed the stop on 315 westbound on Interstate 40.

According to incident reports, Murray traveled up to 115 miles per hour before stopping.

Authorities located the BB pistol and the McDonald’s receipt in the vehicle.
