Crossville Council To Consider Bid For Palace Theater Wall Repair

Friday winds may have been the final push the Crossville City Council needed to repair the Palace Theater.

About a year ago strong winds caused a partial collapse of the southern wall. Engineer Tim Begley (Beg-Lee) said the building suffered a significant roof leak last week increasing the importance of the work.

City Manager Greg Wood said the council will consider a $112,000 bid for approval next week. After that, the council can explore options for a full roof replacement in upcoming budget discussions.
