Jamestown native and Cookeville resident Buffy Key has been named the the new Chief Operating Officer of Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Key has worked at the hospital for 20 years and most recently served as Senior Vice-President of Quality and Operations. Key said she looks forward to the new opportunity.
“I am so honored to serve in this new role as Chief Operating Officer at CRMC,” Key said. “I take this responsibility to serve the patients, our community, employees and the medical staff as one of the most rewarding and challenging of my career.”
With 30 years of healthcare experience, Key has been an integral part in the quality and operational initiatives at the medical center. She received a undergraduate degree in Medical Technology from East Tennessee State University and a Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
Key enjoys spending time with her family, running, camping, being on the lake, kayaking and being with her dachshund, Lulu.
