Crews Battle Fire Near Nameless Community Center

Jackson County firemen responded to a structure fire early Thursday morning near the Nameless Community Center.

Multiple departments responded to the scene, including members from Jackson County Central Fire, Flynn’s Lick, and Granville Fire Departments.

No word on any injuries or the status of the structure. Officials said the blaze forced a portion of Shepardsville Highway to be closed down.

Drivers were being urged to use alternate routes.
