A Crawford woman faces charges for allegedly driving under the influence with an 11-year-old boy inside the car.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested 22-year-old Sheena Nicole Hays following a crash on Highway 84 in Putnam County Saturday.
A State Trooper responded to the scene and discovered a gold Mazda that struck a rock embankment.
The trooper identified Hays as the driver and the child as the front seat passenger. Arrest warrants indicate Hayes admitted to smoking marijuana shortly before the crash and taking a Klonopin earlier that day.
The investigating trooper arrested Hays after she failed six field sobriety tests.
