A Wednesday afternoon crash claimed the life of a Cumberland County man.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased at 62-year-old Donald Monday of Crab Orchard.
Monday suffered fatal injuries when his 2000 Toyota Camry struck two trees on Interstate 40 in Cumberland County and landed on its top.
A THP crash report said Monday was traveling east at the 306 mile marker when his vehicle veered sharply to the left and traveled across the left lane into a median.
He was wearing at seat belt at the time of the crash.
