COVID patients at Cookeville Regional have more than doubled since Sunday with the highest positive case count since March.
21 patients are being treated for COVID-19 at Cookeville Regional Tuesday with seven new patients admitted since Monday. Seven of those are in intensive care.
Tennessee’s positivity rate, which had fallen below 10 percent in March, has now increased to 12-14 percent, according to the Mayo Clinic.
