Enroll A Child In The Imagination Library
Aug 10 @ 8:00 am – 7:00 pm

Every child should have access to books! Tennessee’s statewide Imagination Library is FREE and open to all eligible-age children in Tennessee at no cost to families and regardless of income. The books in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library are selected by a blue ribbon committee of childhood education experts. If you would like to enroll your child, you may fill out a registration form at the Art Circle Public Library.

Cookeville – CPAC Featured Artist
Aug 10 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

August’s featured artist at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center is David Stone. Dave Stone was born in Washington State in the summer of 1983. Having been homeschooled through high school, he was able to draw his younger sister Sarah…. A lot.

When he was 11 he entered a drawing of his sister into the county fair and won first place. He hasn’t put the pencils and paint brushes down since. Although Dave is now a starving artist, his dreams and passions are still very much alive today.

Viewers may enjoy the art Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., at 10 E. Broad St in the CPAC lobby.
