A Cookeville motorcyclist suffered injuries during a Sunday afternoon crash.
The accident happened on Interstate 40 westbound at the 294 mile marker.
A crash report said 38-year-old Jessica Oneil was traveling in the left lane in a Nissan Altima. 33-year-old Justin Albert Sands was traveling behind Oneil in a Harley Davidson.
A crash report said the motorcycle rear-ended Oneil’s vehicle when she stopped due to a prior crash. Authorities did not issue any charges or citations following the crash.
The report said Sands suffered injuries, but the extent of those injuries and his condition remains unknown.
