A Cookeville man has pled guilty to to arson on Monday, being sentenced to six years in state prison.
The guilty party is Dusty S. Troglin who was determined to be a person of interest after a structure caught fire at 220 East 16th Street on June 7. Two people were inside the home at the time of the fire but were unharmed.
Troglin was located and interviewed by a Cookeville Police Detective on June 8. At that point, Troglin confessed to setting the fire and was charged with aggravated arson.
When the fire occurred, the Cookeville Police Department, Cookeville Fire Department and TBI responded.
