A Cookeville man faces multiple drug charges after a routine traffic stop Wednesday.
Authorities charged David Moore, 47, with methamphetamine and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities initially pulled Moore over for a window tint violation and failure to maintain a single lane. Arrest warrants indicate that a trained K-9 alerted to the entire vehicle and the driver’s side door.
Upon a search, authorities found a bag under the driver’s seat cover and a separate small bag on Moore’s person containing a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Arrest warrants state the meth weighed approximately 1/2 an ounce.
Moore also possessed a glass pipe commonly used to ingest controlled substances.
Authorities booked Moore into the Putnam County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
