Cookeville Police Investigating Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident

Cookeville Police are searching for a person in connection with a fatal hit-and-run on Broad Street Monday. Authorities say 32-year-old Phillip Frady of Bloomington Springs was traveling westbound when an eastbound pickup truck attempted to turn onto Broadway Avenue. A 22-year-old Cookeville man will appear in court later this month for a charge of statutory rape.
